Lahugala Kitulana National Park Entrance Ticket

One of the smallest and lesser known parks in the island, the Lahugala Kitulana National Park is located about 13km away from Arugam Bay Beach in the South Eastern part of Sri Lanka. The park is known to be an important habitat for Sri Lankan elephants as well as some endemic birds of Sri Lanka. Its flourished with three reservoirs while its is now a protected area with flat terrain and rocky outcrops that are randomly pop out.

You may also spot sloth bears, axis deer, wetland birds, amphibians, reptiles, fish and freshwater turtles within the boundaries of the Lahugala Kitulana National Park while nature enthusiasts and photographers will find it quite peaceful and beautiful. It’s convenient if you book your tickets online through Lakpura rather than spend time in queues in the early hours of the morning. Our reference enables you to receive a physical ticket that should be in hand when entering the gates of the park. Kindly note that this acts only as a pass to enter the gates while additional facilities of booking a safari jeep and a naturalist should be done separately for an extra fee.
