(SKU: LSB100191A) This sculpture was discovered in the Isurumuniya Viharaya, and its origins may be traced back to the Anuradhapura period, which was in the nineth century A.C. This denotes the moments when tuskers are taking pleasure in their time spent with water. By utilising the position of the rock, pictures of elephants have been created. In addition to this, the shape of the elephants that are approaching has been enhanced by taking the curvature of the rock into account. And here is a beautiful representation of a lone elephant moving in the water, appearing from the lotus flowers and leaves of the pond, twisting its tail, and splashing water from the mud.
